About Agam Jain

Agam is a finance professional turned Filmmaker.Agam found his interest and ability in storytelling championing the university level theatre circuit in New Delhi, India. He moved on to complete his education in the UK and pursue a career as an actuary, while fully aware of his eagerness to both consume and participate in creative storytelling. After working as a financial risk management consultant in the UK and Bermuda for a number of years, he began exploring options in filmmaking and found himself moonlighting as a Producer. In 2015, he became the Executive Producer for an independent thriller shot in New York, By Any Means, while co-creating and producing A Piece of the Rock, a social impact documentary in Bermuda.Both these films were released in 2017. By Any Means won multiple awards at independent film festivals and A Piece of the Rock led to widespread change in Bermuda around road safety issues. This led Agam to quit his full time job as an actuary and move into film production full-time. During this transition phase, he also attended several filmmaking workshops on production, writing and direction at UCLA, NFTS, New York Film Academy, and Maine Media Institute.Starting late 2017, he spent 18 months line producing a documentary film on modern day slavery and labour rights abuse in global manufacturing supply chains, shot across India, China, UK, US and Canada. He was also the Second Unit Director (India) and handled the second camera on this project.In 2020, Agam Co-Founded Take the Shot Films, together with Samuel Clemens, Fernando Ruiz and George Clemens. He is busy producing a female-centric Western feature, and an international documentary feature on gender identity and sexuality....
