Alfred Castillo, Jr. is an actor, writer, producer and director. Born and raised in Houston's East End, Alfred always enjoyed acting and entertaining his friends throughout his youth, but was driven by his family to achieve academic success. Alfred honored his parents by graduating from High School with honors and received his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Civil Engineering from the University of Houston, Magna Cum Laude. He is a licensed professional engineer in both Texas and California and worked for the Dow Chemical Company/Olin Corporation for nearly 20 years. He is currently employed by Sysco as a Strategic Sourcing Manager.Although an engineer by trade, Alfred is an actor/performer by heart. Nearly 15 years after graduating from college, Alfred began taking acting classes and landed his first commercial. He signed on with Neal Hamil Agency in 2012 and his acting career was officially launched.Alfred has appeared in nearly 300 local/regional/national commercials/web videos and industrials, has worked as a model on more than 30 Print projects and has had roles in nearly 30 feature/short films. He is currently represented by Pastorini Bosby Talent Agency in Houston, TX.Alfred used the knowledge he acquired in the industry to begin writing and networking with other filmmakers. In 2014, Alfred established his film production company, ROCA PRODUCTIONS. Shortly after, he collaborated with SCOOT PRODUCTIONS to produce and co-direct his first feature film, entitled La Cadena. The film has been picked up for distribution and is set to premier in 2021. Alfred continues to act and write and is set to produce and direct additional feature films in the near future.He has been happily married to his college sweetheart Diana for 21 years. Together, they have three children, Josiah, Jaden, and Jeselle and live in Katy, TX. His family has also appeared in commercials and he has roped them into his productions as well. In his spare time, Alfred enjoys church ministry as a Youth Sunday School Teacher, Going on Mission Trips, real estate investing, fishing, traveling, and spending time with family and friends....
