About Andy Brewster
Andy got his start in filmmaking in middle school as a YouTube partner producing LEGO stop motion animations. Since his brickfilm days, he graduated with top honors from Biola University with a B.A. in Cinema and Media Arts and directed/produced dozens of projects including award-winning shorts (After Yesterday, A Piacere, Caesura) that have screened at festivals internationally and premiered on sites such as Film Shortage. While in school he worked as a College Ambassador with the Producers Guild of America (PGA) and produced two feature films including All is Calm (2020) and Rubaru (2022), Audience Choice winner at the 2021 International Christian Film Festival in Orlando and now distributed by Green Apple Entertainment with a planned release for 2022. As a lead producer at Action Studios, a startup production company based near Los Angeles, Andy is dedicated to learning more about the art and business of filmmaking as he discovers and tells new stories that speak to the human condition. In May of 2021, Andy graduated summa cum laude from Biola University near Los Angeles with a B.A. in Cinema and Media Arts (with a concentration in Production), a minor in Music (with an emphasis on violin performance), induction into Epsilon Kappa Epsilon (the university's premiere honor society for the top 5% of each graduating class), recognition as his film school's "Student of the Year" for his class, and perpetual membership in the Torrey Honors College through which he studied abroad at Cambridge University in England....
