About Ashley Marie Lewis
Ashley Marie Lewis is a native of Youngstown, Ohio, born on July 8th to Bonnie Lewis (Rusu) and Rick Lewis.Her career began as a recording artist, first acquiring a tiny taste of stardom at the age of seven when she performed with Oldies singer, Bobby Vee at a sold-out local show. At fourteen, she was chosen to dance on stage with former Arista recording artists, LFO, whom she befriended and performed with once again on a stop of their reunion tour in 2009. In early 2010, Ashley was found gracing the stage of the historic Ponderosa Park in Salem, Ohio, where she was the lead vocalist of the Red Garter House Band, and was the last artist to sign her name on the famed backstage wall prior to the park's closing that same year, alongside the signatures of past and present-day artists such as Charley Pride, Johnny Cash, Reba McEntire, and George Strait. In April of 2013, she was invited to perform the Star-Spangled Banner for the Washington Spirit of the National Women's Soccer League's inaugural season home opener in Boyds, Maryland, where they faced U.S. National Team star and international record holder, Abby Wambach, and the Western New York Flash. Three years later, Ashley was asked to perform at the Tennessee International Pageant in Franklin, Tennessee, where she was the featured performer two years in a row.Her debut album, "So Much More", which was recorded in Nashville, was released on August 12th, 2011. Ashley's album is graced with the presence of Reba McEntire's former touring steel guitarist, Bruce Bouton, and two of the fourteen tracks on the LP were co-written by keyboardist, Eddie Kilgallon (Bandleader of Montgomery Gentry), and Wil Nance (Co-writer of Brad Paisley's #1 single, "She's Everything").While she always had a passion for acting, the opportunity to pursue it didn't arise until September of 2014, when she was cast in the highly anticipated and widely respected Nike "Together" commercial, featuring NBA phenom, LeBron James. Shortly after, in October of the same year, she was cast in her first major motion picture, "Concussion," produced by Sony and starring Hollywood legend, Will Smith. In November of 2014, she landed a spot in "Cleveland Abduction," a Lifetime movie starring "Orange Is The New Black" lead, Taryn Manning, based on the true story of the three women who were abducted, tortured, and held captive for over a decade in Cleveland, Ohio. In December of 2015, Ashley ventured to Chicago, Illinois to film "Hit Me," the 13th episode of Season 3 of NBC's "Chicago P.D.". Her other work includes "Love The Coopers," "Fences," "White Boy Rick," and "Gone," where she played the role of an EMT, which she happens to be in real-life. In continuation, she was part of the core cast in "Them That Follow," a thriller starring Walton Goggins ("The Unicorn") and Oscar winner, Olivia Colman.Ashley's older brother, Christopher, is also an actor, and plays guitar in her touring band.In her spare time, Ashley enjoys volunteering for non-profit organizations and charities, coaching youth soccer, and writing. Her mission is to inspire others by her own personal journey, and the battles she's overcome....
