About Bobby E. Erickson
Bobby Eugene Erickson was born May 7, 1972 in Rochester, MN to working parents Elmer Erickson (OTR Driver) and Norma (Bernell) Eitland (Manufacturing/Homemaker). He started showing his personality at a very early age; performing skits with family, and playing music on a wide variety of musical instruments. Bobby excelled in music and singing (alto), and was offered a recording contract in 2010; which he declined, to focus more time and effort toward his family and corporate career.He turned his thoughts to acting in the fall of 2013. His first supporting role was as 'Gif' (Gifre Diamond) in 'The Man In The Empty Chair' (2014); which also was his first credited piece as a music composer. Through networking, Bobby caught the attention of a local commercial and film Producer Dan Chinander, being cast in several commercial roles for TV and Internet projects. This led to various castings for films, commercials, documentaries with ABC and History Channel (H2), as well as voiceover work for National and Regional projects.In 2017, Bobby founded Faith in Family Films, LLC to promote film work in the Midwest (SE MN), and encourage local talent to work together. Bobby has 2 screenplays made into movies (PureFlix, Amazon Prime) and has teamed on several miscellaneous projects as an Producer, Director, Actor, Voice Talent, Composer, Editor, Production Assistant, Crew and Consult. He also has built a professional studio in his home for voice work, and music production (IpDTL).As a happily married Christian, and a father to 2 great kids, Bobby avoids nudity, simulated intimacy, or excessive language; however, he appreciates well thought out plot twists, and psychological character arcs.
