About Carli Hudson
Carli Hudson always had a knack and passion for creating films. She made various home movies with her sister, friends, and cousins, and then joined her high school's Broadcast Journalism program where she became a stand-out news reporter, writer, and producer. Carli's hard work & passion got her accepted into the College-Conservatory of Music's Electronic Media Program at the University of Cincinnati. While at CCM, Carli studied many aspects of the digital/new media world, and gained vast experience in front and behind the camera.In December of 2014, Carli worked on her first major Hollywood film, A Kind of Murder, based on the novel "The Blunderer" by Patricia Highsmith. She appeared as a Beatnik in a cavern bar.In late spring 2015, Carli appeared in the feature film "Goat," a Killer Films production, directed by Andrew Neel, and starring Nick Jonas & Ben Schnetzer. She is introduced to Nick Jonas' character as "Carly," a girl at the party in from out of town, by actor Brock Yurich, however, the scene was cut from the film.Carli has worked as a lead or supporting role in various local films in the Cincinnati area, and has begun to make her way back onto the production side of film as well.::.
Carli Hudson was born on September 16th, 1991, in Detroit, Michigan to parents Don & Victoria, and an older sister, Brittany. Carli grew up in suburban Cincinnati, OH, and always had a knack and passion for creating films. She made various home movies with her sister, friends, and cousins, and then joined her high school's Broadcast Journalism program where she became a stand-out news reporter, writer, and producer. Carli's hard work & passion got her accepted into the College-Conservatory of Music's Electronic Media Program at the University of Cincinnati, where she began her studies in 2010. While at CCM, Carli studied many aspects of the digital/new media world, and gained vast experience in front and behind the camera. She graduated with her Bachelor's Degree in Electronic Media, with a double-major in Journalism in December 2013; one semester earlier than originally scheduled.Carli began attending classes at the Cincinnati Actor's Studio in April of 2014, with Bob Elkins, then Stephen Francia. Carli got her first on screen role in June 2014 in The Rook 2: Children of the Way, as Esme, a young woman who was possessed by an evil spirit, and now lurks the grounds she used to live as a ghost. At a summer acting class, Bob Elkins brought in Carrie-Ellen Zappa to observe the class. Carli & Zappa quickly clicked and Carli was signed to be managed by Zappa Studios that summer.Carli followed Bob Elkins to his new teaching location at Heyman Talent Agency, located in downtown Cincinnati, in September 2014. In her first class at the agency she was given a monologue to perform. One of the employees at the agency was present at the class, and liked Carli's performance so much that she signed her with Heyman the next day. In December of 2014, Carli booked her first part in a major Hollywood film, A Kind of Murder, based on the novel "The Bluderer" by Patricia Highsmith. She appeared as a Beatnik in a cavern bar. In January 2013, Carli was cast as a young protagonist's older sister in the film Pseudo Armor.In late spring 2015, Carli was cast in the feature film "Goat," a Killer Films production, directed by Andrew Neel, and starring Nick Jonas & Ben Schnetzer.
