Influenced by his mother, a former Filipino Folk dancer, and godfather, a Miss Saigon original cast member; he started acting in commercials and theater at a young age. He went on to study theatre at Fordham University and the London Dramatic Academy and later he became a recipient of the Denzel Washington Scholarship, allowing him to continue his artistic development.
