About Dimitri Voutsinos
Dimitri is a filmmaker living in Los Angeles, CA. He writes, produces and directs films with his brother, Mike Voutsinos and good friend, Juliana Provatakis, under the banner of their 'Aether Entertainment' production company.Born in New Jersey, but raised in Delaware, there wasn't much in the way of extracurricular activity in Dimitri's life. After seeing the movie, 'Gladiator' for the first time, he began to wonder what it would be like to make a movie like that. What it would be like to create something that made him feel the way he felt, after seeing it for the first time. He took to his imagination and watching movies and thinking up plots of his own helped him escape the mundane reality that were his mid to late teens.Film let Dimitri's mind prosper and in 2004, while dreaming about the possibility of creation, he began working on a fantasy screenplay that has been changed and edited and altered again and again over the years [the original 180 pages of script are now being converted into a trilogy of novels]. Three years later, a sketch comedy YouTube channel was born that eventually garnered over 8,000 dedicated followers and almost nine million video views. With Dimitri never factoring sketch comedy into his career path, Randumb Acts was finally disbanded in 2010, so pre-production could begin on a pair of dramatic films, one feature length and the other a short film. Both films were tremendous failures as Dimitri's lack of experience showed immensely. Seeing it as a learning experience, he stayed the course, dusted himself off and by the end of 2014, uploaded his first completed feature film and first completed short film to his then production company's YouTube channel, MOH Productions. After these two films, barely watchable at best, he put an end to MOH and his short-sighted idea of his own future and moved to Los Angeles, never looking back.Dimitri and his brother started Aether Entertainment in 2016....
