The multi-talented Dominic Syracuse is an actor, comedian, writer, musician, activist and social media personality. He was born to a Sicilian father and Jewish mother in Cheyenne, Wyoming where he was raised with his 6 siblings.Syracuse received his acting training from the Steppenwolf-West Theater Program, The Groundlings Theater Company, and the Art of Acting Studio (the official Los Angeles branch of the Stella Adler Studio for Acting in New York City)In 2015 Syracuse began heading the Los Angeles branch of the Stella Adler Outreach Program which taught acting, directing, and play writing to Inmates in the Los Angeles Prison System. He also taught acting for empowerment classes in homeless shelters, rehabilitation facilities, and youth alternative programs throughout LA.In 2018 Dominic was cast in the independent, art-house-thriller "In This Gray Place", and in 2019, in the coming-of-age dramedy ""Northwood Pie", both of which received syndication through Amazon Prime. He quickly gained a reputation for playing characters as powerful as they are passionate and playful.In 2020, Syracuse filmed his first full-length stand-up special, which was released privately through his popular YouTube Channel "The Domunist Manifesto" - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCXdiAxhZ-qIjBTUKD3t9K1g - an online series which blends his comedy with social commentary and documentary-style interviews.In 2021, he became the head comedy writer for "The Sometimes Show with Jimmy Snow", ( https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCgeV3tFiU2Xg0PD1dAQbBHA ) YouTube's first political-satire variety/talk show. As of 2021 the show had over 400,000 subscribers, and features Syracuse as a frequent guest host and correspondent. He also composed and recorded the show's theme song for which he played every instrument.Upon touring the nation as a stand-up comedian, Syracuse also teaches workshops on using improvisation for stress-management and is writing a book on his time teaching in prisons....
