About Donnell E. Smith
Using his birth name as his stage name, Donnell E. Smith was born and raised in Baltimore, MD, to LaVerne Williams and John E. Smith. Growing up, he always had a creative energy that preceded him, from Visual to Performing Artistry. Though acting didn't take precedence until his early adulthood, his love of movies and the idea of performing to make people laugh and sing-along, helped him prepare for that journey. In elementary school, he played the Volin and Viola, while in middle and high schools, he studied Mass Communications and Visual Arts. Acting came along, not long after leaving college studies of Mechanical Engineering to pursue music in Atlanta, GA. It was then and there, that he began to fully realize the full extent of his imagination and creativity. Nowadays, you can and will find Donnell doing just that, from the stage to the camera, from writing and singing to dancing and acting....
