About Emily Teede
Emily Teede, eldest daughter of Colin (Barrister) and Robyn (Doctor) is an Actor based in Sydney, Australia. She is ex-military, having been trained as a Radio Operator in the Signals Corp of the Australian Army. Emily has also been a DisneyWorld cast member, a NOC assistant to the Jamaican Olympic Team and a Tobacco Marketer with a Bachelors Degree in Media/Cultural Studies, rounding out her early working life. Over the past 8 years Emily has focused on her love of Acting. She has appeared in a variety of TVC's and TV Series, also several Feature Films in featured roles - Ladies In Black (2018), I Am Woman (2019) and Thor: Love and Thunder (2022). She played lead roles in Frances Bowick's sold out 2020 theatrical play "Good Grief" and her 2022 Sydney Fringe play "Jimmy & Maude". Emily also got the chance to flex her comedic side as a Storyteller in Kristelle Zibara's 2022 sold out feminist variety show "Tough Titties". In 2022 she won lead roles in several short films - Menachem Spielman's "Half/Human: Golum", Ramon Samson's "The World Will Know My Name", Ella Bowman's "Keep Calm", Alyssa Cook's "A Mother's Love", Cooper Sava's "Dead Quiet", Aaron Pearce's "Deadly Nightshade", Peachy Flores' "Private Influencers" and Paul Jones' "Daddy's Girl". She studied screen acting with Director/Producer Grant Thompson for several years, as well as character training with Casting Director Greg Apps. Emily has gained the Finals round for her acting in the World Monologue Film Festival and represented Australia in the Global Finals for the 2021 and 2022 World Monologue Games. Emily lives with her very supportive husband Chris, their two rambunctious children Georgiana and Jackson and their Kelpie-cross pup Ruby (Roundhouse-Killer-Of-Men)....
