Gareth Vergil Root is an American actor. He is best known for his role as "Oliver" in the 2020 film, No Storybook Love (2019). Gareth Root was born in Greeley, Colorado on June 11th, 1997. He is the son of two schoolteachers; his father taught science and his mother art, music, and drama. As a child, Gareth developed a passion for the physical sciences, especially astronomy, and wanted to become an astronaut. However, at age 10, he decided he wanted to become an actor instead. Gareth attended the University of Northern Colorado, located in Greeley, Colorado, where he studied Theatre Arts. He graduated with his B.A. in 2019. While at university, Gareth worked in several student and independent films, both behind and in front of the camera. He played the role of "Detective Carl Crate" in the 2019 film, Forgery (2019), and he wrote, produced, and starred in the 2020 film, No Storybook Love (2019)....
