About Gonzalo Vargas
Originally a New Yorker, born and raised in Queens, NY, Gonzalo Vargas is of South American and European descent. He studied acing at the University of Albany where he graduated with a major in Theater and a minor in Creative writing. After graduating he went on to perform locally in the theater scene. He then secured representation and began working professionally shooting regional commercials and recording voice overs up and down the east coast, as well as performing professionally in the theater. After living in Los Angeles, where he studied under Brian Riese and worked on national commercials, some TV and independent films, Gonzalo then returned to New York City. He has since worked on stage at both the Manhattan and Irish repertory Theater and is best known for his work on such T.V. shows as "Blue Bloods", "Law and Order: SVU", and most recently "Chicago PD"....
