About Jae Artell
I am passionate and driven in the digital film and creative arts to work on-set as a production / film assistant. I have a willingness to work on any and all parts of a production set. I willfully am able to master any task given to me. Previous work on small sets as a supporting role in all stages of development, pre-production, production, post-production, and delivery. Valuable working behind-the-scenes to bring the needs of the production to life.I have spent years homing my talents as a video editor to prepare myself for an amazing career in production. I have truly grown with the opportunities producing and creating media can offer. Always willing and eager to learn more, and use the knowledge on-set to produce the best outcome in any position in the production team. I believe any role on a production set I am placed that I will put forth my best efforts each day to aid the team to capture eye-catching content, music, video and audio content to help further the brand.Since the first time I used a computer, I had a love for audio, music, and T.V., therefore, it has been my life's goal to work in the film and entertainment industry. It was in college at Northern Illinois University, that I enrolled in film courses, and audio engineering course, while learning more about D.A.W.'s and N.L.E's to produce sound and editing. Over the years, I've edited pro res raw footage, learned about different containers for [mpeg 4], [ mov.] files and more. Everyday is a learning experience and a joy, something of which I will take on-set with me everyday.My previous experiences outlined gives a great depiction of the content I have produced over the span of many years. I was responsible for reviewing raw material, collaborating with directors and production teams, trimming footage and inserting dialog, and ensuring all video elements met the guidelines stipulated. These experiences taught me the value of teamwork, listening and taking direction, pre-production, post production, lighting, editing software, sound capture, and so much more. I learn more and come closer each day to mastering the art of production in programs like [Premiere] [After Effects] [Photoshop] and [FCPX]....
