About James Connelly
JJ Connelly wrote and directed "Goth Kill" which was picked up by Wild Eye Releasing in 2009. Since then, JJ has worked behind the scenes on "Gut", and has broken into acting in a series of live, theatrical shows "The Calling" produced by Flambeaux Fire. JJ has done some background work on Law & Order SVU and Person of Interest as well as Forver. Usually, JJ plays a biker, and uses his own Harley-Davidson on set.JJ's film roles include Anarchy, in which he plays one of Ed Harris' biker henchmen, Lady Rider, and the comedy Killer Set, also as a biker, riding his bike onscreen in several scenes.::James Connelly
Most of JJ Connelly's work has been behind the camera. JJ has worked in the Grip, Lighting, Greens and Set Decorating Departments on various films and television shows. Starting on low budget indies in the 1990's, JJ started doing union work in the summer of 2000. Since then he has worked in almost every area of show business, from Broadway shows and feature films, to pyrotechnics and even as a writer / director of his low budget feature "GothKill".JJ is a SAG-AFTRA member. Most film and television acting work has been as a background motorcycle gang member, or in "Gotham" as a prison inmate. JJ does have a single, self written line in "Circle" directed by Bekir Og.In the live theatrical show "The Calling", JJ has a major role as "The Mercenary". The Calling was a five part live action, episodic fantasy show. It is currently being looked at by several major New York producers. In addition to dialogue he wrote for himself, JJ's role involved operating a fire-breathing dragon, riding a motorcycle onstage, and fight scenes involving a flaming sword.(As of f 2018) JJ is living and working in the Atlanta, Georgia area, but still has close ties to the show business industry in New York....
