Before Corona she was in the award winning Garden Lane a.k.a. Trädgårdsgatan - a feature with two nominations to the Swedish Film Academy Awards, and one win! Also in top 10 for the Audience Award.The Action comedy The Duck Pond to aka Ankdammen is found both on I-tunes and SF Anytime after it's screening in cinemas. In The Duckpond, Jannike plays a cold-blooded criminal, a Danish robber, Josephine. In Swedish television, she is also seen together with renown Per Andersson, in the comedy series Katsching! Also on TV, she is in acclaimed series BECK. Jannike Grut is born and raised in Stockholm, Sweden, with a Danish father and Swedish mother. Later she's lived in Copenhagen, Denmark where she also got her BA in acting, and in Los Angeles, and she's still is permitted to work in the US. Grut performed a lot in both theatre, music theatre and stand-up comedy before she got into the films more around 2009. Since then Grut is to be seen in more than 35 Swedish productions and several international.Jannike Grut is now blonde again, and her first role after the Corona years is in the highly anticipated TV series "Evil" (2022) after a book of Jan Guillou.
