Jasmine Nichols born (Jasmine Brittany Nichols-Piesik), is a Polish/Canadian costumer, fashion stylist and special effects makeup artist for films, TV and commercials. She attended Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario where she studied film and media.She has been working in the film industry in Canada/USA since she was nineteen years old. She has a keen interest in costume breakdown, blood effects makeup and horror movies. She loves costume designing and learning new makeup skills. She recently discovered a passion for writing and directing and also works as a part time actress in independent films.Her other interests include social media marketing, she loves to help promote local businesses within the art community. She also helps other indie filmmakers produce their content. Jasmine has also worked as a model for alternative fashion brands and local Toronto designers.She was born in Etobicoke, Ontario and has lived in different parts of the city of Toronto. She grew up living on the boarder of Scarborough, Ontario in the neighborhood of Kingston Rd. Village.Her favourite horror/slasher films include A nightmare on elm street (1984), Hellraiser, Repo The Genetic Opera, Evil Dead series, John carpenters Halloween movies, The Devils Rejects, House Of 1000 Corpses, Scream, Nightbreed, Suicide Club, A Tale of Two Sisters, Friday the 13th, American Psycho, Ginger Snaps, Midsommar and Hereditary.Her dream job would be to either direct, costume design or act in a feature length horror movie.Two short films she costume designed were showcased at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) short film corner in 2019 and 2020....
