Jonah Bowling was born in Atlanta, Georgia on January 22. Soon him and his family moved to the town of Woodstock, Georgia. Jonah was raised half in Roswell, Georgia, and half in Woodstock, Georgia where he still lives today. He has one older brother. Jonah started his acting career at the age of 9 when he appeared in a Frozen Yogurt commercial. He soon began theater and his local arts center and booked five shows back to back in less that eight months. Jonah appeared in his local newspaper in March of 2015 when be starred in "The Emporers New Clothes". Soon, Jonah booked small roles on television, movies, and short films. He made his debut in the summer of 2015 when he portrayed one of the eight "Flight School Boys" in the upcoming movie of "Mena" (2017). Soon after he worked with NBC and many productions companies in which he appeared in several movies. Some of his credits include "Middle School: The Worst Years of My Life" and "Bastards". Aside from acting, Jonah enjoys traveling and songwriting. He wrote lyrics for Lexie Greene, off of Dance Moms and the song is being recorded. Jonah Bowling is an actor-songwriter born on January 22nd in Atlanta, Georgia. Growing up, Jonah was raised in Woodstock, Georgia and spent a lot of time in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida. Jonah has one older brother, John. Ever since Jonah was little you could find him showing a sense of artistic rebelliousness. Jonah began writing short stories, novels and books at the age of around five and performed on stage for the first time when he was six. In spring 2014, Jonah was casted into his first of many theatrical performances of where he sang, danced and acted over 100 times in less than a year on stage in front of live audiences. In summer of 2015, Jonah made his debut by getting casted into the film "Mena" with Tom Cruise, in which he portrayed a childhood friend and "Flight School Boy". Shortly after, he was casted as a "crazy juvenile" on season 1 of NBC's "Game of Silence". Then, he began to work on a Netflix series and some of his other credits include "Middle School" and "Bastards" with Owen Wilson and Glenn Close. Jonah is known for going for the loud and crazy character types. He can pull off anything from a hippie 80's school boy to a rain-soaked, crazy prisoner. In December of 2015, Jonah started working with Dance Mom's, Lexie Greene. Their first single, "Sea Shells" was helped piece together by vocalist, Maggie Bristol. Jonah has pitched lyrics to all kinds of artists ranging from soul to R&B Hip-Hop. "Around Woodstock' Magazine published an article on Jonah in March 2016. Jonah's vibrant and loud energy is influenced by many great artists such as Sia, M.I.A., Rye-Rye, Drake, Santigold, Salt n Pepa, and Grace Jones. Jonah combines modern rap with a late 80's island twist and low notes that balance out powerful lyrics. Jonah also is a Sunday school leader and enjoys traveling and dogs. Jonah is making a mark in the film and music industry at the same time as showing the world that you can accomplish so much at a young age if you try.::J L
