About Jesse Lorenzo
Jesse Lorenzo was born in Newark, DE to Cynthia Conway and William Lorenzo, both teachers. He was raised in the suburbs of Elkton, Maryland, and spent a majority of his youth and adolescence in Delaware. Throughout childhood in the 90's, Lorenzo was inspired by iconic movies from that decade and years prior. Jesse starting acting in plays during elementary/middle school, including: "Beauty and the Beast", "The Wizard of Oz", and "The Nifty Fifties".Lorenzo took a hiatus from theatre during high school. While he attended West Chester University for a degree in Physical Education, Jesse realized acting was his true passion. In an effort to make those dreams a reality, Lorenzo put college on hold, packed up the essentials and drove across the country to Los Angeles.Shortly after moving to LA, Lorenzo was introduced to actor, director, and producer Choice Skinner. Lorenzo learned from Choice at Breakin' Through Acting Workshop. After attending Breakin' Through for several years, Jesse taught class one night when presented the opportunity.He got his first break when he appeared as the double for lead actor, Carlos Pratts, in the Disney produced film McFarland, USA (2015).Since then, Jesse has worked on projects including Choice Skinner's fan film Black Lightning: Tobias's Revenge (2017) (released on YouTube) and booked lead roles in the television series Betrayed (2016) and Deadly Sins (2012) on Investigation Discovery, Drug Lords (2018) on Netflix, Lifetime's My Crazy Ex (2014), and TLC's Sex Sent Me to the ER (2013).In addition to acting, Lorenzo remains focused on writing....
