About Joe Fronk
In February 2021, Fronk joined the Scripted Literary department at APA, after working as a Feature & Television Agent at Artistry.Prior to becoming an Agent, Fronk launched Island Park Entertainment, a Production Company & Literary Management Firm where he represented writers, directors, and talent in film and television, including members of the W.G.A, D.G.A, P.G.A, SAG-AFTRA, and the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.A Political Science Graduate from the University of Washington in his hometown Seattle, Joe Fronk began his career in the mailroom at United Talent Agency before working as an assistant in the Motion Picture Literary & Talent departments. Moving over to Chris Morgan Productions in July of 2012, Fronk worked as the assistant to writer/producer Chris Morgan, his VP of Production and Director of Development. During his time there, CMP sold four pilots in its first season of TV development, with CMP/Imagine TV's Gang Related ordered to series for 20th Century Fox, in addition to FAST 6's success at the Global Box Office. Fronk worked on set in production for the first season of Gang Related before continuing on to work in production on notable films (Disney's THE JUNGLE BOOK, WB/New Line's ANNABELLE, Working Title/WB's WE ARE YOUR FRIENDS) and television series, including "Masters of Sex" (SPTV/Showtime), "Sons of Anarchy" (Fox 21/FX), and "Stalker" (WBTV/CBS).In September of 2015, Fronk joined the premium cable/streaming network EPIX as its Coordinator, Original Programming, reporting to Head of Original Programming Jocelyn Diaz. Fronk played a key role in the network's entry into the scripted originals landscape (Paramount TV's "Berlin Station, MGM TV's "Get Shorty", Lionsgate TV's "Graves") Documentaries (SERENA, THE 4%: Film's Gender Problem), Docu-Series ("America Divided"), and Live Events & Specials in Music & Comedy ("Tom Papa: Human Mule", "Nick Offerman & Megan Mullaly's Summer of 69: No Apostrophe", "Wanda Sykes: What Happened Ms. Sykes?". The department's success contributed significantly to MGM's $1.3 Billion acquisition of the network in March 2017 and catalyzed the array of scripted series offerings available today by EPIX and EPIX Now....
