About John Knyff


John Knyff is known for his work on Blood Lodge (2012), Bikini Girls Vs.The Surf Wolf (2013) and Patriot (2013) John Knyff Grew up in central New Jersey and studied marine biology and environmental science at the M.A.T.E.S. Academy and Ocean County College. While working in the Ocean County Parks and Recreation Department, mainly as an animal husbandry staff member he found an interest in living history presentations and the preforming arts. John started taking his knowledge of environmental recreation and applying it to props and sets for traveling history displays, fan films and shorts. He has trained with a multitude of historical weapons through the 18th to the 20th century, including stage combat with cutlass and saber and proper cannon operation. He also is well versed in World War Two U.S. Army Signal Corps telephone switchboard operation and construction techniques, as well as having a good understanding of the infantry. John enjoys working on period pieces in any fashion but looks forward to the next opportunity of film work, no matter the genre or position....
