Jon Horstman was born in Asheville, NC, on February 18, 1966. He grew up in Cullowhee, NC, where his parents, Arden & Sally Horstman, and sister, Sheila, moved when he was young. He is married to Marcia Horstman and has three sons, William, James, and Christopher. He attended Cullowhee High School and UNC Chapel Hill. He later went to Western Carolina University. He lived for many years in the Raleigh/Durham area of NC. Jon pursued a career in IT where he spent many years working in an academic environment and nine years working at IBM. Jon recently had his first experience working on a movie set and was immediately hooked. He looks forward to what the future holds for him in the film industry....
