About Joseph Thuet
Hailing from Delaware, Joseph "Joe T" Thuet is passionately pursuing his second career - acting - one that he dreamed about while proudly serving and protecting the citizens of Delaware as a member of the Delaware State Police (DSP). For over 30 years, Joe patrolled the highways as a Road Trooper, then the airways as a helicopter pilot. He celebrated his retirement from the DSP in December 2018. Thuet started honing his craft prior to turning in his badge. Taking full advantage of all the benefits shift work has to offer, he attended acting schools and seminars in New York, New Jersey and California and started landing a few small roles. With his desire to act in film and television increasing exponentially with each class and part, Joe retired early. He wasted no time jumping into his personal Act Two where he's now reading scripts instead of Miranda rights. Thuet lives and breathes by his personal mantra: "If you don't ask the answer is always no." This serves him well in all aspects of his life - especially his acting career - allowing him to build a reputable film and TV resume early on. Known for his humility, easy going nature and ability to take direction, Joe is one of those guys you want to be with both on and off the set. Joe considers himself blessed to have worked so early in his career with film director, screenwriter and producer M. Night Shyamalan. Playing himself, he appeared in Shyamalan's thriller, Glass, and had the incredible opportunity to learn on set and in real-time with acting greats Samuel L. Jackson, Bruce Willis, James McAvoy and Sarah Paulson. Thuet, doing what he does best, asking for the opportunity, landed a role with Director Terrance Tykeem in the movie Jason's Letter. Joe reached out to Tykeem via Facebook and that led him to working with Vivica Fox and Quinton Arron, which Thuet said "was awesome to say the least." Look for Thuet in Terrance Tykeem's upcoming film, Abused, where he plays James McNeal and works alongside James Russo, Stephen Baldwin, Tony Sirico and Mackenzie Phillips....
