About Joshua Gray
Joshua Gray is an American actor originally from Sandwich, NH. He spent 10 years in New Hampshire as a crop and poultry farmer while being raised by his grandparents. After spending much of his youth often transitioning homes, Gray found his solace in theater at the age of thirteen. By the end of high school in 2013 he enlisted in the United States Army to serve as a paratrooper, performing his training in Fort Benning, GA and later stationed in Fort Richardson, AK where he was attached to a recon division. Once his service was complete he relocated to Boston where he fully immersed himself into modeling and acting.After six months in modeling he was then offered a chance to try out an introductory acting course. It wasn't long before he found himself back into the high school mindset he once cherished. Towards the end of the course his instructors took him under their wing where they delve into film and theater.He was inspired by Stanislavski, Meisner, Michael Chekhov, and Uta Hagen all the while incorporating what he had learned into thesis, and independent films. Within months into his training he cast in both lead and supporting roles. He soon made his debut on the E! network after working on "How to Hang a Witch", which aired on the E! network several months after production.Joshua has since taken to writing as well, and most recently worked on a cooperative film with director Benjamin Hosking in 2017. The short film "Better Off" is a semi-biographical piece about his father and the events before Joshua's birth; a project that truly defined Gray's direction and purpose within acting....
