Actor of Puerto Rican and Dominican descent, Justin Diaz, has begun to make his presence known by impressing casting directors with his raw versatility before and after he locked in a role on NBC in Dick Wolf's "Law and Order." Within the few years of his exponentially growing career, his work can be seen on various streaming platforms, with his most recent appearance on Hulu's coming-of-age comedy, "Miguel Wants to Fight", Apple TV's American Drama, "Dear Edward," produced by Jason Kasims, and NBC's inaugural Scene in Color film series, "Twice as Good". Additional credits for Justin include the upcoming, "Olga Dies Dreaming" with Ramon Rodriguez ("Will Trent"), "Basic Psych" with Michael Cerveris ("Mindhunter") and David Conrad ("Ghost Whisperers"), and "Help Heather" starring himself.Born in Manhattan, New York, Justin was raised in the Lower East Side. Justin's acting and performing talents were early recognized when he was heavily involved in The National Dance Institute and Rosie's Theater Kids. He was then introduced to basketball. Soon after, it seemed as if he was geared to be a basketball player when he was awarded the opportunity to attend The Kiski School on a basketball scholarship and received college offers, however, he always found himself performing in plays off the court. Aside from his ability on the court, he also excelled in baseball, track and field (100m,200m), cross country, swimming, and boxing. Justin also expresses his creativity through music. He plays electric guitar, piano, sings in musicals, and creates his own beats. Justin attended Syracuse University, majoring in Entrepreneurship and Emerging Enterprises while working on his startup venture, EcoBamboo Living; looking to solve sustainability challenges by building eco-homes for individuals living in disaster-prone areas.Justin discovered his purpose for acting while doing sketch comedy which soon led to a big social media following. What began as an influencer career in hopes of supporting his family, turned into an illustrious acting career.Justin recognized his potential when he was introduced to Freddy Bosche ("Halo, Reach") who put him through Penny Templeton's advanced on-camera development. Soon after, his first film opportunity was presented when he was connected to David Conrad ("Ghost Whisperers") where he then began to work with Siena Goines ("Westworld"), who is currently his acting coach.He is passionate about playing roles that authentically represent an antidote to stereotypes about Latinos and Immigrants in terms of visibility and representation.When Justin isn't on set as an actor, he can be found on the basketball court, building his business, dancing Salsa or Bachata, in boxing competitions, practicing piano, or on a road trip with his friends and dog, Sparky....
