Qaasim Rana, known professionally as Kasim Rana, was born on January 22, 1997 in Brooklyn, New York. He is the son of Iffat Perveen and entrepreneur Mohammed Afzal. He began his career as a professional wrestler in Croydon, England. He retired from the ring after a successful career in the main event spotlight, facing world champions from Combat Zone Wrestling, All Elite Wrestling, and World Wrestling Entertainment.Qaasim began skateboarding at the age of three, and was featured in local magazines and newspapers. He had quit skateboarding by his teen years, only to return after appearing in HBO's Betty. Qaasim studied Business, Management, and Finance at Brooklyn College.
