About Kat Rogers
Kat is a native Texan; born and raised in Houston. Growing up, she spent almost all of her time outside of school either dancing or practicing rhythmic gymnastics. She reached her goal of being on the U.S. National Team at the age of 15 and moved to the Olympic Training Center in Lake Placid, NY, to train for the World Championships during her sophomore year of high school. She then received a dance scholarship to Chapman University in Orange County, CA, but decided to switch her focus to acting and ended up graduating with a BA in Theatre. Her dream of becoming a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader brought her back to Texas, and after dedicating a year to training she landed a spot on the team and spent the following year cheering for America's Team. She's always been a country girl at heart and currently resides out in the boonies of Texas where she loves having horses & cows for neighbors. She's always been an animal lover and after fostering over twenty pups through Dallas Pets Alive, she finally got two of her own (a Vizsla named Major and Golden Doodle named Wrigley). She spends a lot of her free time hanging with them and enjoying the outdoors; she also recently discovered a new passion for teaching and spends about 4 hours a day teaching kids in China how to speak English through an online school. She thinks that their smiling faces are an awesome way to get the day started even if it does mean being on China time!::Kat Rogers
Kat is a native Texan; born and raised in Houston. Growing up, she was a tomboy and played every sport imaginable. Sitting still in class wasn't her strong suit, and every second outside of school was filled with activities. Some of them include softball, swim team, dance, gymnastics and even playing on the local basketball league which had been boys only before she joined. Her first taste of acting was at the local theatre school. When the opportunity came to audition for an off-Broadway show, she went for it and was cast in Cathy Rigby's Peter Pan as Michael. She fell in love with acting and continued on to perform in a handful of musicals at the local playhouse. Eventually, she decided to focus on gymnastics and reached her goal of being on the U.S. National Team at the age of 15. She was quickly pulled out of school so that she could move Lake Placid, NY to train for the World Championships. After graduating high school, she attended Chapman University in Orange County, CA, where she majored in theatre and received a BA in Fine Arts. After a few years in Los Angeles, she moved back home to Texas and became a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader. She is recently engaged to a baseball player and loves getting to cheer him on at baseball games all over the country. When she's not at a game, you can most likely find her at a dog park with her babies: a Vizsla named Major and Golden Doodle named Wrigley....
