Brother Michael lives in Los Angeles and brother Jeffrey still lives in New Jersey.Growing up, Kenny showed early interest music, playing the guitar to the songs of the Beach Boys, Led Zepplin and Kiss. In the late 80's Kenny began playing in bands and hit the Rutgers College bar scene in New Brunswick. After several gigs on the Jersey club circuit, Kenny was invited to play the famous bars of Bleeker St in Greenwich Village, NYC. A chance meeting with famous record producer Russ Titleman in NY lead to negotiations with several record labels including Arista and Columbia Records. In 1999, Kenny Barr released 2 songs for the feature film "Some Fish Can Fly" to positive critical acclaim.Kenny Barr began his acting career on a bet with a friend to appear at a casting call for Karate Kid III.
