Raised by her father, who taught her to swim by tossing her into their pool at a tender age, and her mother, an artist with a penchant for keeping food, music, and family at the heart of their lives, DeLuca developed a buoyant attitude and an unwavering sense of loyalty and connection. Seeking guidance and inspiration, she embarked on extensive research about her idols and managed to secure a meeting with the esteemed Anna Strasberg. This encounter proved to be a turning point, as she was awarded a work study scholarship to study acting.
DeLuca's talent and passion drove her to excel in Off Broadway productions, television appearances, and even have her films showcased at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival. However, her thirst for knowledge and giving back led her to assume the role of a police training instructor at the NYPD.
But the desire for artistic expression continued to burn within her, prompting her to seek guidance from a supportive professor who mentored her through scholarship applications. Finally, she was granted the NYC Mayors Scholarship, which allowed her to complete her Master of Science in Organization Development.
Now serving as the Director of Human Resources for the NYC Department of Education, DeLuca stays true to her roots by resuming her captivating acting, writing, and producing career outside of her professional obligations. When she's not dazzling audiences, she finds solace in photographing nature alongside her rescue Yorkie and her loving partner.
