Alumnus of Drama school Mumbai, Manraj Singh is a film and theatre actor. Manraj is Known for playing lead in AltBalaji web series Romil and Jugal an adaptation of Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet with a twist. Born in Berhampur (Odisha) Manraj discovered his love for arts while working in retail and hospitality simultaneously performing theatre in Bangalore. Landing a spot amongst the 18 students selected for first batch of Drama School Mumbai brought by theatre professionals Team found by Jehan Manekshaw, made Manraj quit his job and pursue Bombay which fuelled his acting career to great heights. Manraj segued into his acting career appearing on MTV music video 'Kitthe Naina' and Balaji series 'Yeh Dil Sun Raha Hai', as well as Ronnie Screwwala's publication trailer 'Dream with your eyes open'. He first attracted serious critical attention with his performance in AltBalaji's rom-com 'Romil and Jugal as Jugal, a queer character in his early adolescent discovering his love for non-heterosexual homophobic on the lines of Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet but with a twist. Steering into sharing screen space with veteran actors like Ronit Roy, Suchitra Pillai, Mona Singh in Ekta Kapoor's Kehne Ko Humsafar hai S1 and S2. Throughout the subsequent decade Manraj has become all three of an internet fixation, a telestar and a celebrated darling having headlined MTV The BigF , Pyaar Tune Kya kiya, MTV Love on the run, Qayamat ki Raat, Kaleerein , Abhay S1....
