About Manuel Perez
Manuel "Manny" Perez was born in Moca, Dominican Republic. He moved to the Bedford-Stuyvesant neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York in 1990 along with his parents and his sister. Manny always had a passion for acting but wouldn't act upon that passion until later in his life. After attending Lafayette High School in Bensonhurst, Brooklyn; he joined the Army National Guard and attended Boot Camp in Fort Sill, Oklahoma. Manny then served 6 years of reserve duties while attending Berkeley College in New York, NY. In 2011, Manny moved to Connecticut where he decided to finally answer his calling of being an actor. He enrolled in Next Stop NY! Acting School with Gary Nastu in Fairfield, CT.While attending classes, he decided to get headshots, take additional training, and pursue his dream of becoming an actor. Manny has appeared on The Hunt With John Walsh several times, Two Strikes, Soon by You, among others. He has also appeared in online commercials, print ads, and much more. He envisions his future full of new acting opportunities. Manny lives in Connecticut with his girlfriend and 3 boys....
