About Marco Staines


Marco Andrew Staines was born in Guildford (U.K.), the Anglo Italian son of Annamaria and Andrew Staines. At the age of three, he moved with his family to Perugia in the Umbrian region of Central Italy. After the divorce of his parents, with his mother and sister, he moved to the nearby town of Spoleto. It was there that Marco developed his passion for acting and began to perform in various school plays and musicals. In 2009 he moved to Auckland, New Zealand and, during high school, began performing in classical dramas and local competitions in pursuit of his love for theatre and film. In 2012 he sought to gain better education in acting and was successfully admitted to the On Screen Acting Course at the South Seas Film and Television School. He graduated and obtained his Diploma in 2013. Marco now lives in London, where he is actively pursuing an acting career both in Film and Theatre. He is the brother of children book's author Bianca Staines....
