'Matt ONeill has built a long career of success as both an actor and a filmmaker. Originally from the City of Pittsburgh, he built a resume of local and regional theatre, indie films, and regional commercials before making the leap to Los Angeles in 2006.Matt's work ethic and determination has led to a growing list of leading roles on stage, strong co-starring and guest-starring roles on television, and leading and supporting roles in film. He has received numerous nominations and awards for the excellence of his work. Matt thrives on the challenges acting presents and indulges in the opportunity that each role brings.More recently, Matt has established himself behind the camera - having produced, directed, and written many successful projects. His works have won awards in the festival circuit and obtained worldwide distribution deals including theatrical release. His background in acting has helped him develop an innate connection when directing other actors, bringing out their most intimate performances. Having worked and educated himself in almost every facet of filmmaking, Matt is able to successfully take any project from conception to reality.In his ongoing effort to create and tell meaningful stories that elicit societal change through art, celebrate & promote diversity and inclusion, and give back to the community, he co-founded Push Freedom Films in 2019....
