About Michelle Pokopac
Michelle Pokopac was born in Fairfax, Virginia and raised in Lawrenceville, Georgia, the multi-racial daughter of a Korean mother and Caucasian father. With a constant interest in the arts ranging from acting, studio/visual art, and playing piano, she continued to pursue acting through her high school's theatre department. Michelle received her BFA in Theatre Performance from Columbus State University and did additional studies in Florence, Italy and Oxford, England. In 2017, Michelle and her partners founded East by Southeast, an organization dedicated to supporting, developing, and producing Asian artists and their work in Atlanta while also encouraging inclusivity and representation through community engagement....
