With a Puerto Rican father, a British mother, and a rich, diverse upbringing, Monique seeks to explore complex, compelling and entertaining stories, consistently highlighting the essential female narrative.She had the immense pleasure of being mentored by the veteran TV writer and creator, David Milch circa Deadwood, John From Cincinnati... Part mentor, part mad genius he emboldened a process directly aimed at the heart of storytelling that has been a guiding light since. In additions she wrote, directed and produced for the Telly award winning web series Front Seat Chronicles exploring everything from sex trafficking to fertility issues to social injustice.
