About Montse Hernandez
Montserrat Hernandez was born and raised in Mexico. She started dancing at the Ballet folkloric of Oaxaca at the age of 7, where she performed on a regular basis for approximately 10 years.In 1998 she began studying contemporary dance along with Graham and Limon technique at "La Escuela de Bellas Artes".After three years of full-time study, she graduated and began working as a professional dancer in the Oaxacan State Company of Contemporary Dance.Whilst working there she also trained in New York style Salsa.Moving to Vancouver in 2006 she gave up full-time dance to become a mother whilst still practicing ballet part-time. During this period she began to attend acting classes, which has since become her main focus.She has traveled extensively over the past few years, including periods in Germany, China, Hong Kong, South Africa, USA, Cuba, UK, France, Japan, Russia, Ukraine, Thailand, and Cambodia....
