About Neal Mayer

Neal Mayer is a stage and screen actor based in New York City. His theater credits include the Broadway production of "Les Misérables," off-Broadway's "Forbidden Broadway," the national tour of "Priscilla Queen of the Desert" and the U.S. premiere and cast recording of Alan Menken and Stephen Schwartz's "The Hunchback of Notre Dame." His television credits include The Blacklist, FBI: Most Wanted, Blue Bloods and several comedy sketches for The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon and Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. He appears in Phyllis Nagy's "Call Jane" which recently premiered at the Sundance Film Festival and will be released in theaters this fall.Neal was born in Meriden, Connecticut. He lived in Wallingford, Connecticut and East Longmeadow, Massachusetts before his family eventually settled in Beachwood, NJ where Neal attended Toms River High School South. He credits his love of acting to a free summer theater-based program in Toms River called the Dover Township Savoyards. After college graduation, he briefly taught English and Drama at Ocean City High School in Ocean City, NJ, and then moved to New York City to pursue a career an as an actor.Neal is passionate about animal rescue and adoption. He is the proud dog parent of Rosie of Riverdale, a sweet three-legged American Staffordshire Terrier....
