From a flirtatious cougar on BET's "Boomerang" series, to loving wife and woman of Faith, Annabelle in film "Champion" to tough, lovable cellmate and confidant in film "American Violet", Portia loves playing along the dramatic gamut.Her first love, like, many actors, is the stage where she made her stage debut at New York's Circle in the Square, downtown playing Lady Anne of Shakespeare's "Richard III".
