About Rachel Daigh
Rachel Daigh is a writer, producer and award winning actress. She worked as an Emergency Medical Technician and Cadet with Phoenix Fire Deptartment before moving to California and attending San Diego State University where she studied Anthropology with a focus in Archaeology. At just eight years old, Rachel began writing screenplays, short stories, children's books and poetry. Her passion for all things creative remained a casual pastime even after her book of poetry "Angst for the Memories" was published in 2006 and garnered her Artist of the Month in her hometown Phoenix, Arizona. Rachel followed the book's success with the children's book "When Shamrocks Smile" which was welcomed with rave reviews. Rachel's versatility in creative writing has lead her to pen songs for extremely diverse musicians such as CMT's Country Music Smash winner Danny Hamilton and Metal band Heavy Justice. While working as an Archaeologist in 2015, Rachel made the decision to pursue her dream of writing, acting and documentary film making professionally and was quickly cast in a number of projects. She received two best actress awards for her lead role in Italian Golden Globe winning director John Real's feature film "The Music Box" and in 2019 rejoined John Real and Real Dreams Entertainment as an executive producer and lead in their upcoming feature "Breath". As a screenwriter and producer, Rachel's first project "Victims" won Best Original Story at The Los Angeles International Film Festival and scored numerous awards for the cast and director. Rachel currently has several projects in various stages of development.Rachel continues to remain active in Archaeology and Cultural Resource Management. With a deep love for the ocean, Rachel is a SCUBA Diver with Divemaster certification and an advocate for marine conservation, as well as, animal rights worldwide. In her free time Rachel enjoys spending time with her Siberian Huskies, playing soccer, traveling and studying Jeet Kune Do....
