Rhandy Torres is a Filipino American actor born on May 20, 1976 in Manila, Philippines. He was raised by his single mother Anicia Torres, a dressmaker. Rhandy graduated from Sts. John & Paul College with a Bachelors of Science degree in Respiratory Therapy.Rhandy made his television debut in the Philippines on the multi award-winning weekly comedy program Ispup. After completing a workshop with the Actors Model and Talent for Christ in 2017, Rhandy landed supporting roles for various film and television series such as Lifetime Movie Network's Mistress Hunter (2018), KingBach TV's Bitcoin Robbery (2018), People Magazine Investigates series Fatal Family Secrets (2019) and In Ice Cold Blood Miss Fortune (2019).In 2019, Rhandy landed a starring role in the FilAm indie feature The Year I Did Nothing which garnered numerous awards in the film festival circuit. He followed it up with a feature role in South Central Love, directed by Christina Cooper (Dear White People). Later that year, he also got his first national TV commercial for the US Census.Rhandy has supportive and loving siblings called Ria Reyes and Ramon Torres. He is Father to Isabela and Ethan. Rhandy has always had a passion for acting and first started acting in elementary school once he was in high school he was regularly performing in the school plays on stage. Rhandy recently said "I have such high respect for the art of acting and moviemaking that I consider everyone involved in any production as family. I love everything about it. I listen well and I always give it my best. Every audition is important whether you book it or not, every project matters. No role is too small because that role might lead you to something bigger.
