Sam Robert Muik is an actor originally from rural Western Canada, growing up on his family farm before moving to Vancouver at the age of 19.Launching his career as the triple-threat that he is, Sam's first big break was as a dancer in the Disney Descendants trilogy where he was noticed for his work ethic and persistence by director Kenny Ortega, who encouraged him to pursue a career in Film & Television.Sam is best known for his series regular role in CBC Gem's series "Hudson", taking place within the Heartland series of fourteen seasons. He has also made his mark on American television appearing with guest star and supporting roles on The Good Doctor, Riverdale, Supernatural, Two Sentence Horror Stories, The Twilight Zone, Kung Fu, Motherland: Fort Salem, Batwoman, The InBetween, and Charmed. Sam has worked on feature films such as "When Time Got Louder" alongside Willow Shields, and slasher-thriller "AMI" and off screen, Sam has taken to the stage in a production of "Far From the Madding Crowd" as Gabriel Oak.Outside of acting, Sam can usually be found reading a book, playing piano or writing songs on his guitar. He also loves geeking out and is always open to a good conversation on Mythology, Psychology, Literature and History....
