Sheila Eden was born in Upstate NY, and has lived all over the Americas. She studied business, theater, acting and voice at Illinois State University.She is a professional Musician, Model, Actress, and Key Make-up Artist who has worked in the entertainment industry for over ten years. She is an artist above all else, that chooses the film and television realm as home.Fresh off 3 music award nominations and a Hallmark movie theme song placement, Sheila Eden continues to be focused on her passion - music for film and television. She is constantly seeking to help create the 'perfect' cinematic moment, where the audience can tap into potential emotion that has been suppressed for years, even decades through music and visuals/video. Her music and voice have been showcased in award winning independent films, and her song is pinned to be an upcoming theme song for a TV Show pilot. Sheila studied and is a graduate of a sync license training program out of Los Angeles. Sheila has songs and albums in agencies primarily in Los Angeles and Chicago. She works along top music producers in New Mexico, and internationally. Her music played on NBC throughout New Mexico for an entire year, in between segments. Leveraging equal passion for both film and music, she makes waves within the indie circuit--not only--by the roles for which cast, but also for accompanying film scores with her haunting voice. Sheila Eden starred in the independent film "The House on Normal Street" which showed at the Santa Fe Film Festival in the famed George RR Martin's Jean Cocteau Theater. "The House on Normal Street" paired with her other starring film "Red Nail Polish," speak about the horrifyingly close reality of human sex-trafficking. It is Sheila's ambition to continue playing characters and making stories that inform the public about relevant issues and drive positive change. Her screen credits also include parts in major productions, such as AMC's 'Preacher,' El Rey's 'From Dusk told Dawn,' and UMC TV's 'True First'. She was selected to be the host for the American Petroleum Institute's Commercial promoting Natural Gas in small communities, spotlighting Las Cruces, New Mexico.From being featured as part of international body positivity campaigns in Cosmopolitan, Huffington Post, Bustle and Women's Health - for which she took part in the "Embrace" Australian Documentary. She has been published in many editorial and commercial publications including Freque Magazine and Artistic Life Magazine, and graced runways around the country in addition to working within top photographic workshops to assist photographers within their instruction model. She has worked with top photographers such as Jim Richard Sonng, Emily Shur, Kurt Markus, Dominic Bonuccelli and others.As an IATSE 480 make-up artist, she has five years of experience in the industry. Sheila has worked under numerous department heads in film and television - often being the key or department head herself. As a fellow actress, she deeply understands the components necessary to help actors build their characters. Sheila enjoys working alongside actors, to assist in collaboratively developing the ideal look that contributes in the portrayal of the character they are hired to create. She works hard to keep actors inspired and thriving while on set. She is skilled at script breakdown, look development and design.
