About Susie Hohenstein
Always a natural comedienne and performer with a larger than life personality and jovial nature, she started working in the film industry in craft services and as a production assistant. Then she had the opportunity to play a zombie Abraham Lincoln vs. Zombies (2012). With her interest in professional acting piqued, she started taking classes in Meisner and Spolin improv. She has played a wide range of characters from a sweet old dog-loving lady in the 2016 film Sinking Sand, to a murderous wife on Swamp Murders. Susie has a recurring role on the 2016 hit HBO comedy series, Vice Principals, starring Danny McBride and Walton Goggins, as the cantankerous teacher, Mrs. Kingsbury. Her comedic presence has often been compared to Melissa McCarthy, Kathy Bates, Margo Martindale, Shelly Winters, and Miriam Margolyes.
