He fell in love with performing at the age of 10 after his musical instrument recital. Later in his years in high school he began studying choral singing, dancing, screen acting, and video production. After high school he began acting professionally in the Bay Area with his first lead roles in the short films "Robin" (2017), "Regrets of a Dying Man" (2017) and "Who Will Remember" (2018). Teryn continued studying acting at Los Medanos College debuting on stage in three consecutive plays and received two acting nomination for his performances. In 2018 he began studying screen acting as well as musical theater at San Diego State University, where he performed in one play and two musicals within his first year.
