Timothy Robert DeKay was born in Ithaca, New York on June 12, 1963. Athletic in high school, he played both basketball and baseball. In his senior year, he starred in his high school's production of Oliver! After high school he attended Le Moyne College, graduating with a BS in Business Administration. After working for Marcellus Casket Co. in Syracuse, New York, he headed to Rutgers University, where he earned his MFA and met his wife, actress Elisa Taylor, with whom he currently lives in California with their two children....
