About Tim Lovick
Born in Wisconsin, Tim lived in several states before settling in the Dallas area in the mid 80's. He has been playing music for as long as he can remember. His primary instrument is the guitar, but he has also played piano, violin, trumpet, and drums.Tim was heavily involved in the Dallas music scene late 80's early 90''s, back when places like The Basement, Smokin Dave's Rock Room, and Dallas City Limits were the hot spots to play. He could have been found at any one of those joints on any given night of the week. Tim spent 10 years with Guitar Center 1990-2000 helping provide gear to the music scene of the day. He has spent a lot of time backstage making things work for many local and national acts.Tim is mainly a singer these days but also plays a custom built Strat-style electric, and a Musicman EVH. He uses an Ampeg VT-60 amp, and loves his Ibanez TS-9 stompbox. Influences: Early rock and roll pioneers of the 50's and '60's. Stevie Ray Vaughan, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Van Halen, Rush. Rock with an edge.Tim is also an aspiring actor working to transfer his performance skills from the music stage to the acting stage.::Tim Lovick
Born to John H. Lovick and Cynthia Gail Fryk-Davis at Swedish-American Hospital in Rockford, Illinois. Tim spent his early years in Waukesha, WI and Des Moines, IA before heading south and ultimately settling in the Dallas, Texas metro area.Tim was heavily involved in the Dallas music scene late 80's early 90''s, back when places like The Basement, Smokin Dave's Rock Room, and Dallas City Limits were the hot spots to play. Tim spent 10 years with Guitar Center 1990-2000 helping provide gear to the music scene of the day. Starting out as a instrumentalist, turned vocalist (still actively gigging in and around the Dallas/Fort Worth area) and has turned his interest to acting. As he puts it, "I want to utilize the performance skills I've honed over so many years as a performing musician and transfer those skills to the stage and/or in front of the camera."...
