About Tom Kay

Tom was born near Manchester in the North of England in 1977 - The year one of his favorite movies "Star Wars" was released.Tom comes from a talented family of performers. His father excelled in amateur dramatics and his grandfather on his fathers side "could sing like Bing" (Crosby).His aunt was a talented artist and actress, his uncle is a musician, cousin also a budding musical actress and his sister in law is a ballroom dancer.Tom's first ever acting and singing experience was at 6 years old as "Jack Frost" in the Primary School play of the same name.Tom went on to star in many school, college and Amateur Dramatic productions both as an actor and as a lead singer and even represented Great Britain in an International Jazz Festival.He studied with the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art from 1989 to 1991 achieving examination Honours for Acting and Public Speaking.Tom has won many awards for Public Speaking and Solo Drama at numerous festivals and competitions in the UK and has a natural talent for character voices, impersonations and accents.Tom is building an impressive portfolio of commercial, voice-acting and film work both Internationally and in New Zealand....
