About Tut Gregory

Tut Gregory is a professional actor, model, and writer. Born in San Francisco, CA, he first began taking both classical and contemporary acting courses under his high school instructor, Maura Vaughn.After high school, Tut attended Wake Forest University, from which he graduated in 2020 Magna Cum Laude with a BA in English, and a minor in Chinese Language and Culture. During his first year, Tut pursued a business major in addition to playing on the lacrosse team. After a change of heart between years one and two, Tut shifted towards his strengths in English and Chinese, while simultaneously pursuing his acting passion in the theatre and dance department where, in conjunction with his regular coursework, he took classes in voice, modern dance, stage dialects, stage combat, and movement. In his first university audition, Tut earned a leading role as "Baz" in Tony Kushner's "A Bright Room Called Day," and from there would continue to gain lead roles throughout the rest of his years. As an acting intern at Marin Shakespeare Company in San Rafael, CA, Tut trained in Shakespearian acting, while gaining his first professional theatre credit in the summer season production of "Measure for Measure."Tut is based in New York City, where his recent work includes starring in a national TV spot for Dr. Squatch, leading roles in multiple independent short films and student films, and modeling professionally for popular brands such as Jack Black Skincare and RSVLTS. Tut trains professionally under instructor Billy Lyons at the historic Wynn Handman Studio....
