About Veronica Falcón
Veronica Falcón was born in Mexico City. She's considered one of Mexico's most versatile and prestigious actors, as well as an outstanding choreographer. For more than three decades she's had a remarkable career in television, stage & film. In 2015, she emigrated to the US looking for new professional challenges, within months she was cast as "Camila Vargas" in the hit television series "Queen of the South".Some of her latest credits include: Disney's "Jungle Cruise" where she plays "Trader Sam" next to Dwayne Johnson & Emily Blunt. In HBO's "Perry Mason" Veronica can be seen as "Lupe Gibbs" opposite to Matthew Rhys, the show was produced by Robert Downey Jr. & directed by Tim Van Patten. In Marc Cherry's second season of "Why Women Kill", Veronica plays "Catherine Castillo" opposite to Lana Parrilla, Nick Frost & Allison Tolman. In Steven Conrad's critically acclaimed "Perpetual Grace" she played "Clara" opposite to Sir Ben Kingsley & Jackie Weaver. Other credits include: HBO's "Room 104" written & produced by the Duplass Brothers, Marvel's "The Falcon and the Winter Soldier", Joseph Gordon-Levitt's "Mr. Corman", Melissa McCarthy's "The Starling" directed by Academy Award nominee Ted Melfi, Neil Burger's "Voyagers" were she plays "Marianne Sancar" opposite to Colin Farrell and "The Forever Purge" where Veronica teamed up once again with director Everardo Gout, who cast her in 2011 as "La Madrina" in his multi awarded Opera Prima "Days of Grace" .She' is part of the cast for the final season of the Emmy nominated series "Ozark" produced by Netflix.In 2014 Veronica was nominated as Best Supporting Actress in film for a "Silver Goddess Award" (Mexico's equivalent to the Golden Globe) for her role as "La Diabla" in Carlos Cuaron's film "Sugar Kisses". In 2019, she was also honored with The National Hispanic Media Coalition's "Impact Award" and she's been nominated twice for the "Imagen Award" as Best Supporting Actress as well.As a choreographer Veronica worked several times with Mexico's National Opera, her choreography of Mozart's "Don Giovanni" is still regarded as one of the most original works ever created for the National Opera. Throughout her choreographic career she worked in countless productions for stage and television in Mexico & abroad as well as with several of the Top Hispanic Pop stars.At age fifteen, she was awarded a Teachers Degree in English, she is fluent in German and French. In 2013 Veronica got a production grant as a playwright competing with over 250 writers, all part of the Global Micro-theater project. Her play went on to have two successful runs. Veronica is part of UCLA's Writers certificate program. She's developing & writing a limited series for the US market and about to start shooting a new television show for Netflix. She lives in Los Angeles, California....
