About Veronica Nix

Born Cinqo De Mayo, 1979, Dancer, Choreographer, Creative Director, Actress and Inspirational Performer. Veronica Gabrielle Nix started out dancing at the early age of five with the influence of some of music's greatest entertainers in history. In 1995 she joined the All-City Dance Company Group in her hometown Detroit, Michigan with rigorous training in ballet at Christina's Adult Ballet Studio, jazz and modern dance with instructor Gina Ellis. In 2005 she also joined the H.F.C.C. dance company under the direction of Diane Mancinelli studying styles of flamenco, swing, jazz and waltz. Her very first artist she began to work for was Patti Labell's own saxophonist Pamela Williams, at age 19. From there Veronica has performed as a backup dancer and choreographer for various musical artist in Detroit, MI such as R&B artist K'Jon and Royce 5'9 and Eminem. In October of 2000 she signed with Bobby Ball Agency as a professional dancer and began to audition for Toni Braxtion, P-Diddy, Janet Jackson's All for You Tour, Aretha Franklin's World tour, The Backstreet Boys, and Mystikal. She landed her first acting/dancing role in the hit play "My Brother Marvin" a life story about the legacy of Marivn Gaye. In 2009 Veronica worked as background talent for films such as Fast and Furious 4, A Thousand Words (starring Eddie Murphy), The Batman vs Superman (2015), Television shows and pilots such as" Chuck" ,"The Inn", starring Nece Nash and Robert Wagner. A list of commercials including Fidelity, Verizon Wireless, Barclay and the DJ Hero feat. Jay Z and Eminem. In August of 2009 Veronica signed with BLOC Agency as a professional dancer and performed with Latin artist Shakira at the 2009 American Music Awards, Veronica was also a featured dancer for Kimora Lee Simmons hit reality TV show "Life in the Fab lane" as a lead dancer (2011). In 2002 and 2010 she danced and choreographed for R&B artist K'Jon's short film "Dancing Shoes" in Detroit, MI. Also featured in Cee Lo Green's music video "Forget You" and for Jay-Z and Kanye West Ni**as In Paris" music video. For there on, Veronica continued to work on many other projects such as, World Of Dance (Chicago) in 2014 and Detroit's on "Motor City Movement" dance competition with dance company Melodic Nocturne. Not only is Veronica a dancer but an all around talent from dancing, acting modeling and performing, Veronica Gabrielle also believes in giving back with volunteer work for The Debbie Allen dance concert at Cal State University (2016) and The Nutcracker at the Detroit Opera House (2015). The best yet to come for Veronica her role on new television show Upscale (Trutv 2017) has finally given her a start to just the beginning of her acting career. Veronica's major influences include but not limited to mentor Janet Jackson, Michael Jackson, Denzel Washington and Viola Davis, performers who all have continue to inspire all beings with style, grace and humility....
